Spring24: This Week – A busy one!

Here’s hoping you’re all having a wonderful weekend and have been able to enjoy the signs of spring. We have a very busy week ahead, here’s a run down…
Monday 4th – Eisteddfod
We will be celebrating our wonderful Welsh culture tomorrow, as we join together to sing, recite and enjoy ourselves. Doors of the Village Hall will be open from 1:30pm for people to look at the art, craft and cooking entries as well as vote in the staff bake off competition. The Eisteddfod performing itself will begin at about 2pm. All are welcome to join!
Please could all craft, art and cooking entries be brought to school in the morning, thank you.
Tuesday 5th – Funky Hair Day
To show our support to Minnie, who’s cutting her hair for the Little Princess Trust this Wednesday, we will be having a funky hair day on Tuesday. Children (and adults) can do their hair in all sorts of funky ways and, if possible, bring along some money to donate to the cause.
Wednesday 6th – Cross Country
Children taking part in the cross country will have received a letter on Friday. Please return slips as soon as possible so that we can sort lifts etc. As usual, this event is weather dependent and we will let you know as soon as we know if it is cancelled.
Thursday 7th – World Book Day
Children can come to school dressed as characters from books and stories to celebrate world book day.
We appreciate that this is a very busy week, please feel no pressure and reach out if we can support in anyway.
Take care and see you tomorrow.
